Sutton Shopmobility is a charity based in the St Nicholas Centre carpark, offering a manual wheelchair, electric wheelchair and powered scooter loan service for people with mobility problems. Sutton Shopmobility can also provide an Assistant Service for visually impaired people and nervous/first time wheelchair or scooter users. Opening Hours are as follows:
•Tuesday-Saturday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Charges
Annual membership for individuals £10
Annual membership for funded organizations £35
Annual membership for non-funded organizations £25
£5 usage fee each time a vehicle is hired.
Becoming a Volunteer
Being a non-profit charity we rely heavily on volunteers for much of what we do, as a result of which we are always glad of any help people can offer us.
The areas where our volunteers work are:
Help in the Office – This involves the issuing of wheelchairs and scooters to our members.
Fundraising – This involves helping with collections, stalls, and other similar events.
